Junil Rue, a non binary trill with futuristic crutches, frowns at two other Star Fleet officers: a male human commander and a male klingon lieutenant. Junil: Good afternoon, Commander. Are you aware that your holodeck is still inaccessible? Commander: G-good afternoon, Admiral! I, uh...(whisper) Lieutenant, how screwed am I? Lieutenant: Very, Commander. holylancee gave me a prompt to draw Junil Rue, I was going to ask for something more specific but then read "They spent the remainder of their days... requiring ramps for accessibility on every Starbase and Starfleet installation...they were not above blackmailing the other Admirals to achieve their goals" and got inspired :D (I suspect these crutches make no sense mechanically >.>)

As you well know I've been marathoning Shield of Tomorrow and it took real, physical effort not to say "Rue/Everybody for all the questions" so instead here are some options: Rue/Throlo for 1, 4, and 13, Rue/ToloS for 3, 5, and 14, and, just to shake things up a little, Mala/Lind Xadas for 2, 3, and 5. Thank you <3
Rue/Throlo
1. Who is the happy morning person and who is grumpy and just wants to go back to bed?
We know Rue wakes up at the Ass Crack of Dawn. Or… the shipboard equivalent. They’re not a sunshiny morning person, but still. Meanwhile, Throlo is a doctor. But she is also the Champion of Naps. She really loves her bed.
4. If they were in a zombie apocalypse AU, how would they meet?
High pitched whining noises because I don’t have time for another project…
Well Throlo’s a doctor, and Rue’s a blasty, and Rue may or may not have been scratched. They don’t turn, but it’s rough going for a bit and their legs get a bit Fucked Up but Throlo saves them. The rest is history. As is how they save the world.
13. What is a memory they share together that makes them both laugh so hard they cry when they think about it?

Um. Um.
Targ Puppy Antennae Dance is a strong contender. The One and Only time Rue tried to get Throlo to do a Sport. Probably at least once incident where they tried to do something for the kiddos and instead got frosting All Over The Walls.

3. They end up going to a party? What couple are they? Ex- Clinging to one another? Just there to steal some free food and leave? Both want to party?
Free food and leave unless it’s a Klingon party in which case it’s the three Fs: Feasting, Fighting, and F— training.
5. Where is their number one date spot? Why do they love it so much there?
Holodeck. Privacy and options. More specifically, there’s this nice cliffside path that’s good both for picnic baskets and conversations and combat with really interesting terrain.
14. They are having a water balloon fight, who wins and how do they deliver the winning shot?
Rue. ToloS is Tol and not as good at stealthing. Also believes stealthing is just a tad dishonorable. Still laughs when Rue sneaks up behind him, taps him on the shoulder, and then smacks the last balloon into his face.
Mala/Lind Xadas
2. Who falls asleep on the couch and who puts a blanket over them?
Mala passes out on her work from time to time. Or just… falls asleep on people. Lind still thinks it’s the Cutest Thing Ever.

Mala likes parties!!!!! Mala… should never ever drink another Mala Ren. Lind teases her about this every time she drinks champagne, and she reminds him about how besotted he was. And is.

They hang out in jefferies tubes a lot, tbh. But they find this nice, quiet place that does both coffee and alcohol and they can snuggle up on the same side of the booth and talk and hold hands.

Broken Trust
Or, Tallulah takes her first steps into the Shield of Tomorrow fandom and pitches her place in the Rue/Sage dingy. Spoilers for most of Shield of Tomorrow and the most recent episode, Deep Six.

Rue doesn’t mean to find it. They’re only looking for information about Tolosh’s breach into the command codes, but it never hurts to be thorough. Never hurts to make sure. They press a few buttons, just to be sure. They don’t expect the notification to scroll past their screen about the code someone has implanted in their station. They don’t expect to see the timestamp lead straight back to Lark Sage. They don’t expect the betrayal that bubbles in their stomach.
Lark Sage has bugged their computer. Lark Sage, their little bird, has gone behind their back to monitor them, keep an eye on them. Underneath, Rue understands the precaution. After everything that had happened, Lark had wanted to do something to help. This though? This is not helping, this is a betrayal of trust. This… This means that Lark Sage doesn’t trust them. Their little bird doesn’t trust them, and that cuts deeper than anything.
