They'd been walking for hours after leaving the bar. Both are drunk. Impossibly drunk. The kind of intoxication that leads to stupidity. He's got his arm around his best friend and an impossibly garbled version of "Intoxication" is spilling from both their throats. They sway down the street and he wonders if they're going to make it home in the tiny corner of his mind that still sober. Clearly they're causing quite a stir because a police car pulls up and takes them downtown. He watches them put cuffs on him with a dazed kind of annoyance, laughing loudly. "Come onnnnn we're not drunkkkk what are you talking about?" He laughs so hard he throws up all over the officer's shoes.

I highly doubt you find me attractive when you're sober.
