JUNGLECORPSE FIC: Built for Two 🖤😘💚
Summary: Darby makes his way back over to the couch and asks, very matter-of-factly, as if this is a completely normal inquiry to make: "You ever been in a body bag, Jack?" And unfortunately for one Jack Perry, his heart has decided that somehow, this is the pinnacle of romance.
You ever take a goofy ship "NOW KISS" style pic of your action figures in a body bag accessory to send to your friend and then fuck around and accidentally write 2300 words of a fluffy, feeling realizations, first kiss style fanfic about what could've lead to those characters ending up in a body bag together?
ANYWAY, Darby's body bag accessory is built for two so that's the name of the fic. ✌️
Swerve going after the FTW? What a strange coincidence that Swerve would be signaling interest in fighting Jack for the FTW while still feuding with Darby. It's also kind of weird that Darby is going after the TNT belt that's currently being held by Jack's former best friend which is the same belt that's also proxy being held by his old mentor.
It's almost like they want Darby and Jack to cross paths again... It's almost like they'd both have insights on opponents that the other could leverage. It's almost like they put a lot of emphasis on Darby trusting Jack during the 4 Pillars storyline and they're looking to cash in that check where Jack didn't strike Darby down with the belt to win the World Championship, but DID strike his best friend Hook down with the FTW Championship to win that instead.
But it's wrestling, so who the fuck can say anything for sure.

Fun Fact: Katy and I went on a ghost tour when she visited and we plotted out MOST of this fic out, while cry laughing, in my living room, while high on cherry coke zero, and giggling like school girls. PEAK SLEEP OVER VIBES IS WHAT FUELED THIS FIC!
