So this is nearly a month late, but I was fortunate enough to finish up my year abroad with the wonderfully Cambridge experience of May Week.  May Week is actually in June, confusingly, and it is the week that colleges host these ridiculous and awesome parties called May Balls and June Events.  I attended three of these in a row, and seeing as they last until about 6 AM, that means I basically became nocturnal.  But that was actually pretty good, because I was on a plane home the day after Pembroke June Event, so it helped me adjust to EST fairly quickly.  I was so sad to leave Cambridge, but also excited to see my family.  And the good news is that I already have plane tickets to visit Polly in Guernsey this summer, so it wasn’t goodbye for that long!
But rewinding to the May Balls.  I worked at Trinity, helping out with Guest Hospitality, on Monday night.  On Tuesday, I attended the very pricey but magical St. John’s May Ball, with Yasuko and Dou Dou.  And on Wednesday, I got to go to Pembroke June Event with Yasuko, Anna, Annie, and Polly.  All the pictures above are from Pembroke.  I will post again soon with pictures from St. John’s!
Pembroke had the theme Celestial, so it featured decorations related to the skies and outer space. Â Once you made it through the queue to get in, there were all sorts of food and drinks free of charge, as well as dodgems (British for bumper cars), giant swings, space hopper balls, a telescope, hammocks, face glitter, an owl, and more. Â There was also plenty of live entertainment and music to dance to. Â We stayed through sunrise and breakfast, but not until the very end, because we were pretty tired by that point in the week. Â
May Week was an incredible experience that I’ll never forget, especially because of the great friends who I have been so lucky to get to know during my year abroad.     Â
Don’t Fear The Reaper is OVER!
The Reaper has been defeated, and Austin is safe yet again (for now)!
This was an absolutely AMAZING event you guys, and I couldn’t have done it without your participation and just overall fantasticalness! Thank you so much!
Third character slots are now open to the following people: Lydia, Kaii, and Davie. Everyone else will get theirs soon. Everyone who does not have a  second character (except for Courtney, our beautiful, fresh spring chicken) can apply for a second character.
Once again, thank you guys SO MUCH for making the event absolutely fantastic. I couldn’t have done it without you! <3

Hello, Rooster Teeth.
Have you enjoyed my challenges?
You’re last one just ended, but this is only the beginning. Memories returned, bodies restored, everything back to normal, yes?
No. Not even close.
Welcome to your last week on Earth as you know it. Enjoy the normality while it lasts. I’ll let you find me on friday, as long as you pass my final test.
Please Follow... The Reaper?
Yes, The Reaper has a blog for the fight para at the end of the month! Posts from him taunting Rooster Teeth won’t start appearing for a while (when exactly? No one knows. The Reaper has a mind of his own.), but please follow the blog!

June Event -- Challenge Three
Shout hooray! Your character has their correct body back! After falling into their correct form and having their correct powers, nothing else could go wrong, right?
Wrong.
There’s always been something... lurking in the back of your character’s head. Whether it’s a paranoia or a flat out fear, it’s always been there, waiting to strike. Maybe it’s a bit silly or a completely outlandish, but it’s still there, and the Reaper sees that. So for week three (June 22nd - June 28th, midnight CST), your character(s) worst fear will become their reality.
Get creative for their fear (only one!), and think outside the box. Don't just say "the dark!" or "spiders!"Â Think worse, darker, deeper. A loved one never existing, something that could kill them following them around, a haunting spirit disrupting their lives.
This fear will only affect your character. For example: if your character cannot see, hear, feel, or acknowledge someone to them because to them they do not exist, that only affects them! To everyone else, that character is still very real and very alive.
The hashtag for the week is DFTR3. Have fun, and be on the lookout for a recruitment post to go fight the Reaper at the end of this week on Burnie’s account. Have fun!
