Day 28. Etched or shaped: CityCop "Seasons" - Yellow/125 Pretty sure it was @darylhudsonba who got me into this band. Something about their bizarre combination of screamo and blues with a Latin twist just hits the ear so right. Day 25. Metal record: Touché Amore "to the beat of a dead horse" - Clear 180g/1000 I don't really have metal records, so this is kind of the closest thing. Day 23. Tri-color or multi color: Hussey "Ground Me" - Coke bottle clear, sea blue and white horizontal tri-color stripe/200 Nathan Hussey's solo effort outside of All Get Out is exactly what you want from a solo album: something that isn't a knock off of the original band. Day 22. Favorite guitar shred: Hot Rod Circuit "The Underground Is a Dying Breed" - Orange with black smoke/225 This is one of the few records I have that I would say is definitively guitar driven. Nearly every track has something resembling a solo. I waiting so long for a pressing of this and my dreams were finally answered a couple years ago. Day 13. Rainy day: Now, Now "Threads" Not sure why we're doing a rainy day record in June, but here it goes. This band is perfect. This album is perfect. And I have dropped everything I'm doing to spin this album as soon as I heard rain falling at least twice, so it must be a great rainy day record. #june16recordaday #nownow #vinyl #transrecords

Day 12. Hardest to find: The Front Bottoms "Summer of Steroids" 7" I found this pre-owned at a Dimple Records on a Record Store Day a few years ago that was otherwise almost a complete bust. Since then, the band has blown up and it's nearly impossible to get ahold of anything other than the self-titled it seems (though, strangely, that's the only one I don't have). #june16recordaday #thefrontbottoms #vinyl

Day 5. Best sing-along LP: The Menzingers "On The Impossible Past" - Black 180g I can't help but sing along to every single word on this album whether I'm at home or in the car. Rented World was okay, but it's tough to follow up such a great piece of work. I'm hoping for better from whatever these guys release next. #june16recordaday #vinyl #themenzingers
