â Wyverns, giant dragons, mechanical gods and now.....dinosaurs. I swear, my life is starting to sound more like some crazy fantasy book....â words tumble from her mouth as hands push aside overgrown bushes and hanging tree limbs. something glitched and next thing she knew? sheâs on Fosse Isle. you know, the one with the very large dinosaurs and an active volcano that could go off at any given time and frequent rain storms??
now, it wasnât too bad. much less adrenaline-inducing than Haugste Isle had been, but it was hot and again, dinosaurs, but it was....sort of nice. having yet to run into anybody, sheâs mostly been on her own, making her way through the jungle and towards the volcano. possibly a bad idea, but there was more of a chance to find a cave or something to use as shelter than hunting down a treetop canopy. plus, she did not want to get stuck in the rain. or a dinosaur stampede. or lava. at least her Hawaiin Mystic Code offered some sort of protection-- not much, but some was better than none.Â
a moment to take a breather, she halts and very quickly rests her back against the trunk of a large palm, sliding down a bit as she braced her hands on her knees. Ritsuka wasnât tired -- sheâs walked all across singularities and lostbelts and has more than enough leg strength -- but rushing would do no good. so she plans to relax there for a moment or two before continuing on. at least, until she hears a very sharp snap of a branch or a twig and then all thoughts of relaxing get thrown out the window.
of course, of course this happens to me!! now, rather than going to investigate or asking who is there, she looks down at her feet. perfect. snatching up a good chunk of what she guesses is hardened lava, Ritsuka turns to where the sound came from, and what does she do?
volley that rock as hard as she can in that direction, thatâs what. Â
