It’s the second half of 2019! Time flies. I set up my monthly this time with just pen first because I was sitting through a boring meeting at work, and chose a color later when I had access to my full pen collection.
Here’s the set up monthly log below. Not much has changed, I kept my bujo review section in the corner as always, I’ll fill in my SO’s work schedule between those two date/day columns on the right page, and I kept a space between Saturday and Sunday to visually separate the weeks and to allow me to put weekend-spanning or weekend-general things in the empty line (like in that first weekend). I moved the dinner log, as you’ll see below, and I’m glad I have more room to fill in each day’s line, because one page width just doesn’t seem to be enough sometimes.
I have had my gratitude and mood trackers on one page for a long time now, but lately I’ve been running out of room to write all my gratitudes (a good problem to have!) so I decided to give my gratitude log its own full page. Next to my usual mood tracker I put the dinner tracker I usually have on my monthly page, and added a pasta tracker (I’ll cross off the “P” every time I have pasta that day, and hopefully there won’t be too many crossed out by the end of the month).
I also left a column to write down any exercise I did that day. I want to start doing a few crunches or something most mornings to supplement my occasional workouts, so this will be a good space to squeeze in any morning exercises, or just write “workout” and elaborate on what I did in my daily. It’s a new thing, and the last time I tried something similar it didn’t really stick, so we’ll see how this works!
I used a bubbly, rounded lowercase throughout with a 0.5 mm pigma micron, and my accent color for the month is my light blue Crayola Supertip.
It’s always so satisfying to have a crisp new monthly layout, so here’s to a great July for everybody!
