Aliena and Salvadore in a nutshell.

It was a pretty busy night at The Rowdy Raven; the tavern was bustling with people from every part of Vesuvia. Unfortunately for Aliena, it was not a good night for tips. For as many people as there were in the building, there were just as many unwilling to toss a coin her way.

Regardless, she played her heart out on the strings - it was impossible for her not to. She plucked complex melodies as if they came as naturally to her as breathing, not even sparing a thought as to how her fingers should move along the chords.

After playing several local folk songs that the patrons seemed to enjoy, Ali announced that she would be taking a short break. She walked over to the bar, grabbing the attention of the bartender.

“What can I getcha, Ali?” he asked, a familiar smile on his face.

“I’ll just have a glass of water, thanks,” she responded, voice faltering a bit.

The bartender seemed to know what was going on right away. “Slow night for tips?”

11. Favorite weather?

I love Springtime days - where it’s warm with a light breeze, not too humid but certainly not dry, fluffy white clouds in the sky and sunshine on my face. It’s both comfortable and beautiful during days like that.

16. What are their fears?

I know it makes me sound like a little kid, but the number one common thing I’m scared of is the dark. The absence of light makes me panic. I think that’s part of the reason why light magic comes to easily to me.

But as for deeper fears? I’m anxious that I won’t be able to help Julian prove his innocence. The thought of him being executed for a crime he didn’t commit is heart-wrenching. Also, I’m terrified of forgetting again. These past two years have been a steep uphill battle for me. The thought of having to go back to square one is one of the worst things I can think of.

25. Favorite song?

It’s so hard for me to pick just one! Ah, if I must pick one, though… it’s probably “Odds Are” by the Barenaked Ladies. But if you’re interested in my music tastes, I have a playlist you can check out, too!

33. Favorite time of the day?

I’m a bit of a night owl, to be honest. I love staying up late and stargazing in the open fields by my home. It’s quiet and peaceful; a perfect way to end the day.

39. What is their biggest motivation to solve the Lucio’s killer mystery?

I want to help Julian clear his name. I know he’s innocent. I’m certain of it. And I can’t just sit idly by and let an innocent man hang.

40. What do they think of Lucio so far?

While I don’t remeber what Lucio was like when he was alive, his presence still very much lingers over the city. And… it scares me. His raw power and force intimidate me, and a part of me is glad I don’t remember what he was like when living.

49. Do they get drunken easily?

As much as I would like to deny it, since I work in a tavern, I’m a complete lightweight. One or two drinks and I’m down for the count.

51. What is their worst negative quality?

Asking me to read myself, huh Sal? Well, if I’m being completely honest, sometimes I’m too trusting of people - especially strangers. Blindly believing others has led me down some dangerous paths before.

55. Their happiest memory?

This one is easy! For my 21st birthday, Asra gave me my guitar as a gift for coming so far in my recovery. It was a very touching surprise, and he enchanted it himself to help boost my magical abilites. It’s my most prized possession.

56. Do they blush?

Bl-blush? Ahem, uh, why yes, I tend to do that. (｡･･｡)
