One out of five people in the world do not have access to electricity.  Jessica Matthews and Julia Silverman have invented a soccer ball (called the "sOccket") that harnesses the kinetic energy created by kicking the ball, and then stores the energy for later use.  After play, very small electric appliances can be plugged into the "sOccket" soccer ball!  The "sOccket mission" is to distribute as many sOcckets as possible to the regions of the world that need them the most.  Good Housekeeping called the sOccket, "A historic and heroic idea."  Parade labeled it, "One of the most amazing discoveries of 2010."  And, the TED Organization declared it to be, "An idea with revolutionary potential for the developing world."  Learn more and find out how you can donate a sOccket today: www.soccket.com
