This is my Secret Santa gift for @evakskam! Tereza, I hope you enjoy this little thing (wow I just finished and it’s not so little). Feel free to send me a message if you want! I love new friends.

So I was inspired for this by Druck’s Christmas party clip and the clip with Hetero Hans yesterday. This is gonna be hc style but it got pretty long. The basis is just a happy thought about a Christmas where everyone is able to be fully themselves and celebrate with their little found family. This turned out to be pretty Hans centered but everyone else is there being their lovely selves. Also it’s kind of a mess lol but I hope you enjoy <3

so it’s next year

everyone has done their regular Christmas things with their families

some of them are nice, and some of them not so much

but regardless of whether they had a good or bad holiday, they were invited to Second Christmas, hosted at German kollektivet

it was Mia’s idea, after seeing how constricting and depressing it was for Hans back at home

she proposed having a Christmas celebration with everyone

not a party with lots of alcohol and loud music - a nice dinner with dear friends

Hans loved the idea and was super happy to host

so the day comes

Hans and Linn are in the kitchen a few hours before it’s time for everyone else to arrive

Matteo shows up early with his boyfriend to help cook

Matteo and Hans got really close this year, with Matteo coming to terms with his sexuality and desperately seeking any sort of advice about this boy that he was obviously falling hard for

Hans developed a soft spot for that boy quickly, so when he opens the door to Matteo and the boy (that he has met time and time again, and can he just say - what a catch) smiling, with their hands clasped between them, Hans’ chest tightens in happiness and pride

and they’re happy to be there early because they both miss the time when they hung out at kollektivet together and saw Hans all the time Matteo’s boyfriend loves to cook

now it’s almost time for everyone else to arrive

and Hans puts on his brightest shirt

and he starts answering the door with a big smile on his face

Hanna and Jonas - two bicons, who got back together a few months before

both of them give their hugs to Matteo and Hans

and Jonas gives a big bro hug to Matteo’s boyfriend, who became a part of the crew effortlessly after the two boys finally told him and the other boys about their relationship

Sam and Amira and Kiki show up, looking beautiful as always

Kiki has been living her best single life since things ended with Alex

she brings one of her favorite dishes that she’s been making

she’s been cooking a lot lately

Mia has helped her find some healthy recipes and the girls couldn’t be prouder of how much better Kiki has been

(also her and Matteo have become pretty good unlikely friends recently and their relationship is so sweet, much to the surprise of the rest of their friends)

so a few other people show up

now, almost the whole gang is there

talking and laughing and having a great time

but finally it’s time for dinner

and all the guests are seated around the big table (which is actually several small tables pushed together as nicely as possible)

when there’s a knock on the door

and Hans runs to answer it to give his best friend - a part of his family - a big hug

what he was not expecting was for there to be another girl standing shyly behind Mia

the girl trails in behind Mia

all eyes are on the two of them, with lots of questioning looks

no one misses the gleam in Mia’s eyes when she introduces the stranger as her girlfriend

so they sit down and proceed to get lightly interrogated

because no one has heard a thing about this girl

but (of course) soon she’s having a great time with Mia and all of her friends

so everyone has a lovely happy Second Christmas dinner <3

and Hans looks on to all of these younger kids that used to just be Mia’s friends

he thinks about when Mia became friends with the girls and started bringing them over

when they started hosting parties

and he thinks about when Matteo moved in

when Matteo started bringing his boyfriend over

when Matteo came out to his friends and Jonas and a few other boys started hanging out there too

he thinks about when Mia moved out, and when Matteo moved out

he thinks about all the visits and dinners, and yes - still the occasional party

he thinks about how, even though maybe it’s just him and Linn in their apartment right now

he is still surrounded by so much love

love from all these kids that used to just be Mia’s friends

but now
