you're just innocently bent over, rummaging for something in the bathroom drawer. your hands dig through your things, seeking out something specific.

thats when you first hear it.

When he first asked you out, you could barely believe it. It didn't exactly come out of nowhere since you'd catch him staring during lectures at times but never thought it would lead to... well.. this, him trying to persuade you to go to him to a small cafe by campus with that natural flair that always made girls swoon over him.

There was his 'crew' watching as he asked you and you could feel them staring, i mean how could you not? there's like ten of them.

"Sorry.. I kinda have things to do today.." you quietly replied

"Huh? My bad, I didn't get that" He said, looking a little nervous now

With the way he was acting, it started making sense and being able to see that he might actually be serious instead of trying to make a joke out of you as you often experienced with frat boys asking you out.

"Uh yeah, I can go.. 3:30 right?" You ended up agreeing to go out.

The rest after that ended up mostly being history.

There were a lot of things you hadn't expected about dating Sukuna. I mean it WAS Sukuna we're talking about, The guy who forgot girls names as he was in bed with them and let them go straight after. So when you experienced his softness and care, it came as a total shock.

The first week was mostly just.. shocking. Sure you didn't think he'd keep you a secret or anything but you didn't expect at that weekends party he'd drag you along and introduce you to all his friends. Regardless it was fun, you may have got some dirty looks form girls who wanted to be in your position but to hell with them, you were having fun and being able to relax and talk with Sukuna and his friends

By the second month it felt like he already knew every little thing about you and vice versa. It felt perfect. He knew how you shoulders would ache after being slumped over for so many hours studying and he would give the most heavenly massages, slowly working at the knots. You knew the little expressions he'd make and how they showcase what he was thinking even if it was for a fraction of a second. He knew your order from you favorite cafe by heart (the cafe he took you on the first date to) and you knew to get his favorite chips when you came over. It all felt right.

To others it might've seemed crazy, to you. it was just routine. You wouldn't have had it any other way.

Especially on nights like this. Cuddled up in his bed with the faint smell of cedar filling your senses, moonlight softly shining though the curtains and the soft and warm embrace you were in.

Who would've ever thought Sukuna ended up being whipped for a girl who he never talked to before asking her out?

Who would've thought trouble-making frat Sukuna signed up for all tutoring sessions to try to get close to one girl he'd never talked to just to find out you weren't the tutor? You still don't know about that and he doesn't think he has it in him to tell you either.

When he asked you out, for some reason you expected him to not care about it so much and leave you in the shadows. Now you know he'd rather die than do something like that to you.
