A few days later the hearing was held in Willow Creek, at the Sim County Courthouse...Judge Randall Bailey would be hearing the testimonies in regards to reducing the charges against Noah....
JUDGE BAILEY- “As you know this is not an actual trial, but only a hearing to determine the actual charges against the accused, Mr. Boedell. Currently the charges are two counts of murder and evading arrest. The defense has advised the court that their are circumstances in this case to reduce the charges to involuntary manslaughter and evading arrest. The court has agreed to hear this evidence prior to the trial.
The prosecution has prepared a statement, and is calling two witnesses to testify, One Quentin Boedell and they also have requested to call Noah Boedell to testify. Is the defense ready?
ETTA- “Yes, your honor.”
JUDGE BAILEY- “Very well, Mr. Bennett, you can begin your questioning, and I remind everyone of the oath you took prior to this hearing.”
