Jude really wanted to be a parent before becoming a vampire and the fact that they will never be able to have kids of their own is something they really struggled with. Especially because they were born and turned in a time when gay people couldn't really get married, so being turned in that context was very bittersweet. Like, vamp would live long enough to see change and see things get better for gay people and, in theory, be able to do a lot of the same things as straight people, but then because of vamps vampirism they couldn't do a lot of those things.
But that is another reason that Jude loves being the spouse of one of the coven leaders because it gives them a sense of parental responsibility over their coven.

How did they first meet? They first met when Jude started working as a nurse at the hospital in Crimson Beech.
What was their first impression of each other? Lewyn's first impression of Jude was "oh. π³ oh he's cute". Jude's first impression of Lewyn was "he's so cool and hot. who said that"
Who felt romantic feelings first? Lewyn
Did either of them try to resist their feelings? Lewyn definitely does because they meet when Jude is still human.
What would their lives be like if they had never met? Lewyn would be a lot lonelier. Jude would (probably) not be a vampire.
What was their "flirting stage" like? A lot of subtle flirting. I mean it was like, the 70s, and they were gay so. A lot of both of them trying to figure out if the other one was queer while also trying to be careful in case they weren't and all that.
How do their friends and family feel about them as a couple? Lewyn lies to the covens and pretends he and Jude didn't start dating until after Jude became a vampire, so they're all cool with it. Jude doesn't really have family outside of the covens. For the most part, they keep their relationship fairly secret for a while.

2. How does their vampirism affect their daily life? Have they had to make any changes to routine or behavior?
Because the ley lines protect them from the sun, they don't have to worry about that. They didn't have to change much about their routine or behavior tbh. They didn't have any family in Crimson Beech so they didn't have anyone super close to them that they had to hide their vampiric behaviors from.
3. Are there perks that outweigh the condition, or is it too difficult to enjoy?
Jude generally likes being a vampire. Their favorite thing about it though is the family they gained when they became a vampire. They weren't close with their own family, so they love having their Clements (and Venandis) as their family now.
11. How much restraint to they have around blood?
They have really strong restraint around blood because they work as a nurse at the hospital in Crimson Beech, so they're used to being around blood. They struggled at first, though, and took a few years off of work after they were turned, but now they're fine being around blood.
