Jason: *about to blow out the candles on his birthday cake* Alfred, come here.  You need to blow out the candles with me.  It’s your Birthday too.

Alfred: It’s quite alright Master Jason.  At my age birthdays no longer hold excitement.  

Bruce: He’s right Alfred.  You deserve a little recognition every now and again,

*both Alfred and Jason blow out the candles on the cake.*

Jason: Birthday buddies!  *holds his hand up for a high five*

Alfred: *returns the high five* Birthday buddies it is Master Jason.

*Some Years later at the Wayne Family Cemetery*

Alfred: * Blows out the candle on a small cup cake before placing it on the grave* Birthday buddies, Master Jason.

My Day 2 submission for Jason's Birthday Week, featuring SIX different Jasons! I'm slightly amused that while everyone's holding their weapons, the RHatO-Jason is just doing a hip thrust. I swear it just sort of happened as I was sketching.

Jason was awoken abruptly from his slumber by a familiar large hand shaking his shoulder. The outlaw groan and rolled over to his other side, turning away from the kryptonian. He was a little irritated because for once he didn’t have a nightmare and got restful sleep, so excuse him if he didn’t want to be awaken. When he didn’t feel his shoulder being shaken he assume that Bizarro had left.

That is until he felt his covers being yanked from his body. Jason sat up and stared at the smiling culprit who had said blanket in his hands.

“What the hell, B?” He squinted his eyes at his friend who had the odacity to look sheepish.

“Red Him must wake up. Me and Red Her have surprise.” With that the big guy place the covers back on Jason’s bed and walked out his room.

Jason watch Bizarro’s form leave, wondering what Bizarro meant by ‘surprise’. Better to get up and find out now before Biz came back to drag him out of bed. Throwing his legs over the side of his bed and push himself on his feet. Raising both his arms above his head and stretching his back. He let out a relief sigh when he heard it crack. Satisfy, Jason walked out his room and on the search for his teammates. Not before having his cup of coffee first of course.

He enter the kitchen just to find it dark as hell. He blindly found the switch and flipped it on.

He turned around and...

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY JASON!!”

Jason nearly jumped out his skin but recovered quickly when he saw that it was only his friends. The new and old outlaws all together. He was surprise to see Roy and Kory here. Not after not staying in touch with them after they went their separate ways.

Jason gestured to the birthday banner hanging on the ceiling, the presents on the counter, and the cake that was lighten up with candles. “What..uh is all this for?”

The four shared a look with each other before laughing.

“It’s your birthday dude!” Roy answered happily.

“Don’t tell me you forgot your own birthday.” Artemis ask with amusement in her voice.

Jason rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly. “I didn’t forget. I just didn’t think anyone would care. No one has since I’ve came back alive.” His eyes downcast to his feet.

Suddenly he felt arms wrap around him. His face was smothered with red fiery hair. Kory pulled away and cupped his face in her hands. “Jason you’re most important to us. Of course we care about the day you were born.” Jason smiled small at the Tamearan’s words. “Now enough of this feeling of sadness. It’s the day of celebration.” She beamed brightly which cause Jason’s smile to grow bigger.

“What the hell. Lets get this party started.”

The Outlaws sang Jason a happy birthday which said birthday boy blushed in embarrassment. They had cake and watch Jason open his gifts. To finish the day off they all gathered around the living room to watch movies and grub on pizza.

Jason can safely say that he had a happy birthday. He spend it with the people who cared about him.

Yep it was a happy birthday for sure.

“He doesn’t get past the second tire.

The street is dark and silent and damp, like all alleyways in Gotham; the only sound echoing off the walls is Jason’s heavy breathing as he tries to finish his job as quick as possible.

So when a hand grabs him by the back of his shirt and lifts, Jason screams.

He screams bloody murder, because for all he knows it might as well be, and he thrashes and kicks and claws.

“Hey, hey, stop that, dammit,” it’s a woman’s voice, gruff and annoyed, and a little amused. It doesn’t mean shit, not in Crime Alley, this can still be the beginning of his murder story, but Jason decides to open his eyes at least, take a look on his wannabe murderer. “Jesus, kid, should’ve known you’d be a biter.”
