Don’t know where to start, but I am ecstatic to share this space with you @srbachchan!

I have seen people always praising your acting prowess. And I don’t disagree either. However, I am fascinated with some of the hard-earned supreme human qualities of yours!

Your reverence for your parents fascinates me the most! There are numerous celebrated father-son duos, but yours is a different story! Two prominent personalities from two disparate realms! And son constantly underscores the father’s eminence, refusing to acknowledge his own stature! From a talk at Mr Manohar Bhai Patel Institute of Engineering and Technology, Gondia in 2012, you quoted your father saying “Mere bete mere bete hone se mere uttaradhikari nahi honge, mere bete mere uttaradhikari hone se mere bete honge”. I was fortunate enough to be one among lakhs of spellbound audiences, trying to construe what it means to you being son of the great Mr Harivanshrai Bachchan! The pride you own reciting every line of his poetry; the heritage you extend so gracefully; as his true Uttaradhikari!

The family values you inherited and have inculcated in your own offsprings fascinate me the most! Its generally none of my business, but its worth attending to public behavior of prominent families. Bachchans staying together in the same family house, their collective arrival at events, touching feet to seek blessings of elderly, immense love and respect bestowed upon women in the family, ceremonial and enthusiastic celebration of festivities, everything is so enthralling! For a society constantly trying to ape the West and reeling away from traditional practices, makes it more significant to learn. 

Your humility and modesty fascinate me the most! Acknowledging the affection of well-wishers, you fondly greet them outside Jalsa every Sunday morning. Modestly dressed, with folded hands, posting their pictures - making their visits even more special. Offscreen when you share stage with other actors, sports personalities, politicians, KBC contestants or with common man, I wonder what you’re made of! Someone who has achieved almost everything in life, is so generous in showering praises, getting inspired, and crediting them sincerely!

There may have been amazing writers to have pointed out all these qualities of yours, I wish to tell you, that everything came straight from bottom of my heart! I truly mean it!
