Ra.nni- I'm obsessed with Ran.ni's story. Her design and her story is phenomenal and I think it perfectly ties the entire story together. I spent ages trying to get up to her tower and I honestly am just so iver the moon abt her and her quest line so far!

Bla.idd- Phenomenal character introduction. I remember being absolutely terrified at first, and now he's one of my favorite characters! Ij.i's story about him and Ra.nni playing as children and dragging him into it almost made me sob.

Ij.i- Father material. The kindness in his voice is so calming, and I love how gentle he is. Another amazing design!!

Neph.eli- She deserves the world, let's be real. Her storyline gets so damn sad, but I absolutely love that with her painful past, she wants to be a force of good and kindness. All my love for her 😔

D- HIS ARMOR... So good holy shit. I tend to like assholes with good morals, and D is hitting that mark so far. His character drive? Amazing. I just adore the idea of this man and his fucked up boss

Gur.ranq- Hi dad :)

Rod.eri.ka- First time I met her I knew I'd adore her. She's so sweet and kind and the fact she sees the best in everyone makes her so endearing! I love her character progression fr

He.wg- Rod.eri.ka's dad :) Love that he has no faith in my survival, I think that's funny. I sobbed when he alluded to Rod.eri.ka being a daughter to him. He's honestly just a great guy that hides his love under a harsh demeanor.

Bo.c- AAAAAA 🥺 MY BEST FRIEND, GREATEST SEAMSTER IN THE LANDS BETWEEN!! Seriously he means the world to me. I will never be over his love for his mother and his affection for the player character.

Lat.enna- I don't think I'll ever forget the feeling of slughing through that cave and finding Lat.enna on the other end. Seeing her and Lobo made me think of Art.orias and S.if tbh 😔

Sel.len- Sel.len is basically my magic-wieldin momma. First time I met her I was pullin out adoption papers. She's delightful and I am SO EXCITED to continue her quest!!

Ken.nith- Ken.nith is special.. Something about his shitty attitude turning into genuine affection and admiration for the character.. Did not even hesitate when he asked if I'd be his knight lmao

Morgott- I legit can't say anything that isn't a spoiler except for [sobs and screams and cries]

Male.nia- Another case of AMAZING lore with an amazing design. She's so damn cool. Her love for her brother is so powerful, and omg.. that second phase is just beautiful. Anyways, is ur dad single?

I think it’s not really something your average person is going to know about at all, but it’s basically

to literally

stop/discourage things like this blog from happening.

It’s a circling of the wagons, so they can point to a project like this, which 1. is outside their purview for very good reasons and 2. wouldn’t get funding anyway because it’s “too confrontational”.

It’s so they can point to independent projects published online and say “oh, they’re just some wingnut working outside respectable institutions of learning”.

It’s making sure we never get payment or recognition for this kind of work. On the one hand, it might have the effect of stemming some of the rampant plagiarism that goes on, but what do you want to bet that this rule is going to get bent for people who fall IN the sacred circle of publishing within academic journals and maybe happened to lift their entire thesis from “some blog”? And that somehow this new rule will only affect people who’ve previously blogged academic journal-level material online because they were repudiated from publishing it there first? Because that’s already pretty much the established pattern.
