YOU MADE ME DO IT I'M IN AGONY AND MIGHT NOT READ YOUR RESPONSE BECAUSE I'M SCAAAAAAARED
Feel free to skip a few I'm overenthusiastic thinking of trios in Enderal
---------------------
9. Snug, marry, kill
-> The Forgotten Stories Trio
TharaĂȘl, Dijaam, Esme
-> The Main platonic and/or romantic Relationships (imho)
TharaĂȘl, Jespar, Calia
-> Easy peasy maybe? The Emissaries besides the Prophetess (asking you about Siri feels wrong lol)
Tealor, Coarek, Yuslan
-> Iconic Vendors
Fresh and Tasty Bread, huh no I just place them out for you to look at, my wares it is you want to see I promise you they bring you glee
-> Dust pit adversaries (I want to write TharaĂȘl again because technically true hngpf)
The Twins (double trouble with two handed hammerss), Tamas Sha'Gar (first fight with the 4 people free for all, he was the one with bow and fire arrows), Raga Shadowclaw (lycanthrope)
-> more "cuddle once, have as a pet, abandon (give to a loving person to take care of)"
Whirlwind (Donkey), Standard Brown horse (not Svart), Cuthbert (the dead (& kinky) mini pig of Maxus Tabaccus, the summoned form not alive one of him)
I'm a big indecisive softy so I couldn't answer any of those. Last one clearly indicates a certain **theme** in the game đ€
Long ask - long answer! Like, very long.Â
The following is based on my personal opinions, visions of characters, marriage, human behaviour etc etc, and Iâm fine if you disagree with me. Also, warning - adult topics.
Okay, the input info:Â
- I think for myself, not for my prophetess (what I am: mid twenties female who values personal space in a relationship the most).Â
- I donât turn it into modern au.Â
- This is âfuck/marry/killâ, not âsnug/marry/killâ (I believe itâs implied, but still, ADULT TOPICS AHEAD)
- For me(for this game) marriage is a combo of the first of our wonderful three-positions list, the lack of wish to implement the third and commitment. If optimistic â even fruitful coexistence. I keep in mind marriage is stability and all.
- âKillâ is mostly âoff the tableâ for those characters I canât see fitting for any of the first two positions. That doesnât mean I want to kill them, except if I specifically state so.Â
1. TharaĂȘl, Jespar, Calia
Starting with the hardest one.Iâm telling bye to Calia, alas. Sheâs too lawful, and Iâd be very grey morality-wise if put to their realities. Besides, she has these sub vibes and I agree with opinions she might be very dom when it comes to intimacy, but her whole sadness aura is not for me. I donât want to deal with it if I donât have to.Â
Jespar: we know what he thinks of any relationship - âas long as I feel like it - Iâm here for it, else - adiĂłsâ and itâs pretty common for our world, but as weâre in a medieval and religious community, I believe open relationship is not common at all. I am thinking about marriage possibilities here, yes. He wouldnât like the idea â it involves commitment. And I assume heâs the closest to me personality-wise, so we could be close friends, but I want commitment. Whether the relationship hits low or weâre doing pretty good â I want my spouse to be with me. Jespar is known for running away when things get bad. So yeah, he stays just for one night.
And it seems I have to marry Tharael. Well⊠Heâs very ESTJ, but I donât mind if he takes care of, welp, everything.
Pros: his understanding of âfamilyâ is quite classic to our world as well. Remember what he says in the Refuge - âno one will have to mourn me - no widow, no children, no friendsâ. So in his head he tried to fit the roles of a husband and a father(still canât see how heâs capable of it, but he definitely gave it some thinking). Family for him = wife and kids. He acknowledges and accepts the commitment. Besides, he seems to be very responsible and reliable. He also tries to be rational, sometimes he even manages. And, as I see the Rhalata as a military formation, having spent 8 years there, he is very straightforward and strict/precise/exact (pick the right word). If somethingâs being said â rarely hidden context is implied. It makes communication much easier.
Cons: he is explosive and I have strong suspicions he might be of jealous type. It is manageable, though. Especially if you set a list of rules together what is acceptable and what needs further explanations. Heâs used to living following rules, so give him new ones and heâll feel more confident. But careful, as it may play against you. Been there done that. Rules are cool as long as theyâre acceptably flexible and youâre not trying to find how to cheat and break them.Â
But out of these three, he is the husband material, at least for me.
Iâm not mentioning any intimacy above, as it would break the game for Tharael at all. But if elaborating â I donât even know how you would drag him to your bedroom when heâs aware what he is and absolutely not aware what this new âshellâ may produce as kids, if it is capable of it at all. So I politely ignore this fact. (In my otp it works as I headcanon the prophet canât have children)
2. TharaĂȘl, Dijaam, Esme
Why I would marry Esme: she *is* commitment. She cares a lot for a person sheâs close to. She cares even after their relationship is not a thing anymore. I love this personality trait, and Iâd like to see it in a potential spouse. Iâm not sure what kind of relationship she prefers tho, if itâs open like Jespar wants them to be, I start doubting and think of picking Tharael again(not telling Tharael doesnât care as much; in fact, he cares more). If not an open relationship â Esme is âlighterâ than him, but also much more naive. But itâs okay, I can be oversuspicious for the both of us. So, marry Esme. And sorry, Dijaam, I have to kill you as I like Tharael more đ€·đ»ââïžÂ
3. Tealor, Coarek, Yuslan
Ah, tricky. Yuslan once had a family â heâs capable of it, they were happy, so Iâd pick him for marriage. I know how Qyranian people handle families and marriage, and poly relationships are definitely not my thing, but what he had was very âclassyâ, so Iâm good. Tealor failed to have a family. He barely tried at all. Taranor â the lore never mentioned anything about any love interests. I guess not much difference here picking who to fuck and who to kill. I just pick what looks better, so⊠kill Tealor.
4. âIconic Vendors Fresh and Tasty Bread, huh no I just place them out for you to look at, my wares it is you want to see I promise you they bring you gleeâ
I barely trade in the game, I hoard everythingđ
I know the first one is Marita, the second phrase is not unique to just one character and the last one I simply canât remember. But I donât want to do anything with the mean trader, so I kill him. Marita will be my friend.
5. âDust pit adversaries (I want to write TharaĂȘl again because technically true hngpf)The Twins (double trouble with two handed hammerss), Tamas Sha'Gar (first fight with the 4 people free for all, he was the one with bow and fire arrows), Raga Shadowclaw (lycanthrope)â
Ehhhh we donât have any personalities here, so I canât really pick anyone. KILL ALL!Â
6. âmore "cuddle once, have as a pet, abandon (give to a loving person to take care of)"Whirlwind (Donkey), Standard Brown horse (not Svart), Cuthbert (the dead (& kinky) mini pig of Maxus Tabaccus, the summoned form not alive one of him)â
Iâm keeping the ghost pig as itâs somewhat intelligent, doesnât need food and grooming and takes care of itself in general. If given the choice, I wouldnât pick anything. Commitment, commitment⊠As for the other two hoofed frens, no difference really. Iâd patpat both, but I donât want to own a pet.

If they could live anywhere in Enderal, where would Siri and TharaĂȘl move to? And what would their house look like? (obv before invasion and all that)
A good one, thanks!
This part is super fresh and under construction so it was different just a month ago and it may change in a week, but as I try for my ideas to be plausible and logical, this one seems to be such for me, so it has all the chances to stay.
In my version of everything (as I literally canât call it an AU considering itâs the thing that has AUs and the game plot canon has been abandoned long ago) they would live in Ark. The Order helped Siri to get that house in the Noble quarters (not that one the game presents to you as the playerâs house. Iâm talking about DalâMercerâs manor (Esmeâs quest)) as no one else agreed to live in a âhauntedâ place out of the nobles. She made Tealor help her with papers. Siri doesn't own it, but is fully allowed to use it.
Iâm still thinking what to do with the Esmeâs quest tho, but that manor would definitely be the place where they live. I will think of making a mod reconstructing that place later. And, welp, youâre not wrong if you think a pathless (and then even two pathless) living in the Noble quarters would be considered problematic by the dwellers. But they both are used to it. Besides, when Tharael moves in after their three-months-long vacation (taken right after the Rhalata questline, will explain in the next paragraph) itâs winter and things are much slower regarding social interactions. But in any case it takes time for these two to be accepted. Luckily, both know how to talk to people to get what they need (yes, even with no fists or weapons involved!) so they manage.
The âvacationâ: Siriâs idea. On the way down the mountains from the Father's expedition she vaguely mentions she owns a house in Ark but she doesnât want to go back to the city. I donât want to retell all my story (hopefully youâll be able to read it yourself someday when I finish it) but she offers to move to the Sun Coast for some time for them both to heal and rest. Tharael agrees. Canât tell you he has no choice, but he decides to stick to any new plan heâs offered just to have one. So after leaving the Frostcliff tavern they go to Fogville port and then to the Sun coast. They donât live in Riverville though. If you remember, there is a place with a wild witch, half-destroyed house and cute cows on the other side of the river â thatâs their home for the autumn. A lot of efforts and time were spent to reconstruct it, but later they use it as a summer house and a rest place.
Thinking of saving up and moving elsewhere from Ark - I donât see it possible for Siri. Sheâs needed in the Temple, besides she needs people around. Tharael would manage to live in Riverville/Duneville/Farmers Coast but as I see it â the game makes him dependant on the prophet and so do I. He wants to stick around and help. And if considering the chances to move to the marketplace house, although Tharael is extroverted as Siri (maybe not as much tho), heâd think of that place as too busy. Siri, on the contrary, would like it more (more chaos = more fun) but she gets used to things quickly so sheâs totally in love with the manor.
If you want to ask âbut what about the Rhalata?â as in Le Shadowsverse Tharael doesnât hide at all â letâs say Siriâs recklessness is highly contagious ( ͥ° ÍÊ ÍĄÂ°) Again, donât want to spoil the story.
That art is amazing! Can I ask how you painted the fire it looks so good!
Thank you đ
Iâm afraid I donât have an answer to it. You can find a process gif on my Patreon, but it still doesnât have any explanation or guides.
I can say itâs a âsense of randomâ of sort that helps to define shapes that donât exist in static (like flames, hair, water etc) and this sense can be developed only with practice.
1. What are things they both find funny?
Jespar (in a good way, though it takes some time for Tharael to stop being irritated by him), animals being dorky (mostly Svart), people secretly hating prince Mith, stupid jokes of each other, not so stupid jokes of each other, hateful salty talks about the rhalata and the order, Constantine, and many other things!
6. What is/are their love language(s)?
Affection through actions for both. Though Siri is more chatty and adds a fair portion of âaffection through wordsâ to it too. Mostly it is âhere, I brought you thisâ in many variations and also âhere, I did this thing you donât like doing yourself for youâ.

3. If they complimented each other, what would they say?
Sort-of answered with no answer, will draw a comic later~
11. What causes them to fight?
It can be literally anything. Both are quite explosive and both calm down fast, so they can yell at each other and speak normally the next minute. That is, if the matter is not serious. And if it is, it could be Siriâs irresponsibility, for example, or Tharael behaving awkward with the Sun Children and denying to acknowledge it. It passes with time, of course.Â
3. If they complimented each other, what would they say?
Iâll draw a comic some time later!
12. Do they have differing political opinions?
Siri has strong, Tharael has none. Basically, if taking a look at her backstory, she was supporting Narathzul and was ready to fight for him and his ideas. So she hates the Lightborns and all the cults theyâve started. She hates the Sun Temple, Tealor, and the Path. Her political views are much closer to what Coarek presents than anything else. But still she doesnât want to crucify people for being religiously devoted and finds it wild. She learns to tolerate religion with the time while living in Ark. And Tharael finds such things âsuperstitious nonsenseâ and hates the temple and the keepers for their attitude towards the Undercity and its inhabitants. So theyâre pretty much at the same place of view in this question.Â
