Then her son goes missing and dies (which many people suspected to be a hate crime) then he comes back to life? Also, in the newspaper clipping about Will, they wrote that he was found in a cabin in the woods(most likely hopper’s) which… considering people thought he was either hate crimed or abducted by a gay man… people would definitely assume things about what happened to him.

And for the next year, he’s losing weight and missing a lot of school for mysterious doctor’s appointments. He also just seems quieter and more skittish than he used to. I definitely believe in the theory that Hawkins thought Will had AIDS. So, her son was found in a mysterious cabin in the woods and came back traumatized and suspected to have AIDS. Then her boyfriend dies mysteriously.

Then the next summer, she’s seen running around with Hopper. In fact, she’s the last person he’s seen with before he “dies”. And people thought they were dating. So her son went missing and two of her boyfriends died within like a year and a half. That just had to add onto her bad reputation. And for some reason, too, she was one of the only survivors of the mall fire that killed 30 people and she walked out of it wearing A SOVIET UNIFORM??? What is up with this woman?
