Here is my promised flip through if my newest diy journal insert. This one is for fall. I originally planned to use for the 3 months of fall but I did September in my summer insert. So I made this one with less pages. 🍁 The pages are dyed using food coloring. The cover is a file folder covered with decorative papers and washi tape. The cover image I fussy cut out of a store mailer. Then I just did some simple brush lettering for the title. I already started using it so I rushed by a few pages. But you'll see those later. Made my second ever signature tonight. This is going to be my first diy traveler's notebook insert. I used contact paper, or shelf liner, for the cover. I saw it in the 99¢ store, liked the print so I bought it. I figured why not try it now since I have plenty of it. The grid paper is from a pad of clairefontaine paper that I have. I'm sad to see it go but I needed something for my monthly insert starting next month and this was it. 📑 Looks like pamphlet stitching will be my go to binding since I can never get any of my staplers to work properly. Assuming this thread holds up I'll use that more too. I bought some thicker thread but its a pain getting it through the holes. The corner rounder worked well too.
