“It wasn’t my intention, I’m sorry to myself.” - sober, Demi Lovato. This song made me cry instantly the first time I heard it. Not because I have ever struggled with alcohol but because the lyrics can relate to so many other parts of my life. This song really reminds me of times or darkness that I have been through and how crappy it feels to “fall off the wagon” of recovery. I need to remind myself that recovery is not always uphill and that slip ups are okay. I can get through this. I will get through this.
