Please tell us why you like this fic so much!

It's a very thorough exploration of why Helena was in Boone and not in Univille, and how she finds her way back. It's so beautifully written, so very poignant, and one of my favorite Instinct fix-its.

You see them as soon as they walk through the heavy double doors, following the counselor, Sikowitz, through the facility.

One looks dumb, head held too high and pink suitcase obnoxious and sparkling as she rolls it behind her. Like she has no idea that her pride is worthless here.

The other one looks emaciated, duffle bag hanging from a bony shoulder and the way her spine is curved and her head is bowed, its like her bag is filled with the world.

The Idiot doesn’t spare a glance at the people in the room she’s marching through. It’s just you on the couch with Beck’s arm slung over your shoulders and Cat’s head resting on your thigh but still, she only continues across the rec room with her nose in the air. She’s throwing out ridiculous orders that involve egg white omelets and Egyptian cotton sheets and you can kinda respect her blind egotism already.

The other one though, the one that looks like a glamorous but starving refugee, glances at you with big brown eyes and a face that’s all angular in a way that is maybe attractive if you’re into sharp chins and jutting cheekbones.

You grin at her, jagged and mean while your tongue comes up to press against the back of your teeth and she looks away, dark hair falling into her face as she walks a little faster.

I think I'll give this Tumblr thing a shot. I tend to just lurk around here but I figure I'd give stepping out into the open a shot. No promises on how active I'll be because real life has this thing where it likes to drop kick me in the face.

Anyway, some people may know me. I write a little bit a fic under the name Journaliar on FF.NET. I don't write nearly as much as I used to but I still try very hard to find time to update and work on original stuff as much as I can. I love, love, love all kinds of music so feel free to recommend things and while I don't have alot of time to watch TV, I love that too. Parks and Recreations owns my heart.
