Penultimate chapter of Signing on the Line has been posted!
That’s right: ch 25, is up, leaving only 1 more (reportedly 20k+ word) chapter. In this chapter...Neil receives a visit from You Know Who. (Hint: He brings another black box w/him. No, Neil doesn’t like this one either.) Neil reflects on his options, all which have a high cost. Kevin + Neil have a Really Important conversation that @jostenminyard has been holding in their heart for almost a year. (It’s a great one. Yay Kevin!) And then there is that ambiguous ending. Hmmm, is it hopeful? Does it set up a trap? Or do we just have to wait a bit longer to see what unfolds? Here’s the hopeful sentence I’m hanging onto while we wait, "So the only option out of all these options is none of these options."
