Gryphons brow creased in worry, “Josi, how could you ever think I would even consider the money?”

“What are you doing here Josi? I’m not supposed to see you until tomorrow! Is something wrong? Did something happen?” Gryphon worked himself up through his tirade and by the end of it he was sweating bullets with all of the crazy doom thoughts zooming through his mind.

Gryphon frowned when he heard a knock at the door and quickly put away his coffee mug that he just got done cleaning and opened the door. Gryphon’s mouth fell open in shock before he quickly clamped it back together.

“Hello Gryphon,” Josephine said a little bashfully at she looked at him through her eyelashes. “May I come in?”

“Josi? What are you doing he- uhm I mean yea of course,” Gryphon stepped quickly to the side in order to allow Josephine entrance to the house that was provided for the contestants when they weren’t living with Josephine.

Day 4

Josephine’s smile brightens, “He said that?”

“I swear on my life,” Ellis grins. “He has it for you bad”.

Josephine pecks Ellis on his temple, “Thank you, for ... everything. For understanding, for being supportive, for .. becoming my best friend”.

Ellis lays his cheek down on his hand to where his nose is now touching Josephine’s. “Go get him,” he says barely above a whisper.

Josephine’s eyes widen as her breath catches. “Thank you”.

After changing back into his everyday clothes Ellis quietly closed the bedroom door behind him while Josephine was in the bathroom. Pulling out his phone he dialed Gryphons’ number. 

Ellis sighed in relief as he heard Gryphons’ voice through the other end of the line, “Gryph? I need your help ..”

“Did something happen to Josephine!? What’s going on?”

“I uh .. I don’t know what to do man. Josephine is fine, she’s in the bathroom showering right now ..”

“Okay .. what’s going on Ellis?”

“I can’t do this man, it’s not right. I’m sorry.”

“Can’t do what Ellis?”

“Josephine’s amazing and I ... she’s yours man.”

*silence*

“Gryph?”

“What do you mean she’s mine?”

“I feel weird whenever I kiss her, whenever I touch her ... I feel like I’m hitting on your girl. And the way she looks at me ...”

“Looks at you?”
