     𝐋𝐎𝐔𝐃  𝐑𝐔𝐌𝐁𝐋𝐄𝐒  𝐒𝐈𝐆𝐍𝐈𝐅𝐘  𝐃𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓  𝐓𝐎𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐃𝐒  𝐓𝐇𝐄  𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐒𝐒'  𝐀𝐅𝐅𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍  . a mighty beast though he is , he always has been and always will be  enamored  with rhaella. she is good to him — does not treat him as a fearsome creature , but as a respected partner. she is all he could ever ask for in a dragon rider , and he makes it known.

     ᴍʏ  ᴅᴇᴀʀᴇsᴛ  ʀʜᴀᴇʟʟᴀ  .  ʜᴀᴠᴇ  ʏᴏᴜ  ᴄᴏᴍᴇ  ᴛᴏ  sɪɴɢ  ᴛᴏ  ᴍᴇ  ᴏɴᴄᴇ  ᴍᴏʀᴇ  ?

The lysene paramour was sitting behind her lover - queen rhaella - on the bed, plaiting rhaella’s platinum blonde hair when rhaella spoke those words. “You never cared for the crown in the first place, my love.” aenora responded back, in her musical, flowing, liquid tongue, as she had finished the plait, before moving around so she was sitting next to rhaella.

Aenora gave her lover a genuine smile, reaching up and place her hand on rhaella’s cheek, stroking it softly, before pulling the queen into a sensual kiss, whispering into the kiss, “And I you.”

                      the morning that shane had woken without rhae at his side, he didn’t immediately assume the worst. he gave it a day, waited to see if she was somewhere in alexandria, asked around to see if anyone had seen her, or if anyone had heard where she might’ve gone. but no one knew anything, and she wasn’t anywhere that she normally slipped away to when she needed a moment alone. 

                      the night came, and he begins to worry. she wasn’t one to have things remain unsaid between the two of them, and no one knew where she was, he figures she might’ve tried to go out on a run herself and try to blow off some steam, but when he looked around the outside of alexandria there didn’t seem to be any evidence of --- overly enthusiastic head smashing. if she did get herself hurt, she would’ve still fought like hell, taken down a few dozen with her. 

                      there were a few nearly sleepless nights, perhaps weeks, where he’d wake and reach out for rhae, find the bed empty - and fill his day trying to occupy himself with enough tasks to distract himself from the sickening worry. 

                      the last fucking thing he expected was to see her turn up on negans next supply run, attached to his hip and soaking in every word that he says.  she didn’t look hurt, or distraught, but she doesn’t spare him a glance for any sort of reassurance she was alright. he tries to gain her attention, to get as close as he could -- to grab her away from him, but she was adamant on giving him the cold shoulder. negan takes a few steps to talk to someone else, and shane grabs hold of her arm, tries to pull her away.

and so we begin *rubs hands together*

“I am SORRY.”

There are no amount of apologies that Vladimir can quietly confess in the confines of Rhaella’s chambers. It had been hours since his arrival, making up for months since he had last seen the young woman turned from him. Amber hues looked after her, desperate as he gently reached an arm out to grasp her upper.

Ache in his throat was great, emotions fighting viciously against each other.

He would know her in his dreams. He would know her if he had been blinded by illness.

Vlad would know Rhaella in the darkness that kept him from her very appearance. It had been too long since he had last seen her face yet she hadn’t changed a day in the years passed. She was still ever the same gorgeous young lady he had found himself enamored with from the moment she had teased him. It’s the first brush of fingers against her own, clasping her hand ever so gentle and kissing the soft skin of her hand.

“My lady.”

It’s a soft uttering of words, breath hanging on the air as Vlad eased his gaze upward with nothing but adoration in darkened hues.
