It has been eight months, two weeks, three days and sixty seconds since Y/N started dating Dong Geu Rami. One of the best lawyers in the whole of South Korea. On some days like these they felt insecure since they were chubby and had more curves.
Their hands were at the hips and the mirror reflected their chubby figure. It caused tears to roll down Y/N‘s cheeks. Their hands pinched some skin with their fingers. They didn’t understand what Dong Geu Rami saw in them.
Y/N has been so deep into their thoughts that they didn’t hear Dong Geu Rami calling for them downstairs. Everything seemed to fall apart for Y/N when they glanced into the mirror. Which only reflected what they saw from the outside.
Dong Geu Rami was worried about her partner when she didn’t hear their footsteps running downstairs to greet her. She called the name a few times. Dong walked upstairs after she looked everywhere downstairs and didn’t find her partner everywhere.
Y/N still didn’t hear the way old wood stairs made a sound when Dong walked upstairs. Their cries were the only thing that could be heard outside of the room.
„Y/N why are you crying, beautiful and handsome person. Can you open the door for me…?” Asked Dong with worry in her voice. She really wanted to hold her partner in her arms.
Y/N opened the door shocked when they saw their girlfriend standing there with a worried expression on her face.
„Nothing is wrong. Don’t worry.” Mumbled Y/N with sadness in their voice.
„You know when you say sentences like that it causes me to worry more. Since I can read you like an open book. All I wanna do is be there for you.” Reassured Dong with care in her gentle soft voice.
Y/N couldn’t hold back the waterfall of tears anymore as soon as they walked into Dong’s wide open comforting arms they started crying. Painful sobs caused Y/N’s bare shoulders to shake. Dong could only hold them and run her fingers through their hair.
“Look at the mirror my love.” Whispered Dong with sympathy in her voice.
Y/N looked into the mirror seeing their girlfriend staring into their eyes with much admiration in her eyes. Their cries turned into soft sniffles.
„Listen to me my pretty handsome partner, you are absolutely beautiful and handsome. Sometimes when you walk around in masculine clothes I feel very safe and protected in your arms. When you walk around in feminine clothes I feel comfortable and proud of you. Proud of you for accepting your masculine and feminine side. That you are happily outed about being non-binary and that you are my partner no matter what happens. I love absolutely everything about you. You are the love of my life. I find you more attractive than anything else. Your curves are perfect and being chubby isn’t bad. You should embrace your chubby figure and be proud of it.” Reassured Dong with seriousness and happiness in her voice.
Y/N could feel happy tears rolling down their cheeks. Dong smiled at her partner with much proudness. Her eyes told Y/N that Dong meant every word in the sentences that she said to them.
In that moment they realized how lucky they are to have Dong by their side. Their amazing, smart, cute, beautiful and very hilarious girlfriend. They knew Dong would become their future wife. Honestly Y/N couldn’t wait for that day to happen.
