Prof x Tia (46): "well i've written 10 of the 45 fics (and another 9 of the 45 is podfics ive done). they're DOOMED your honor. they mean so much to each other….. oh my god i finally get a chance to rant about how much i love them and i dont know what to say. the world in their series has changed very much and each other is all they really have left from their old lives (everyone from their old friend group is evil and/or dead. or knighthawk. knighthawk just kinda does his own thing). there's lots of angles you can take with them i love seeing them domestic pre-canon, i love the drama during canon (because they're put through a lot of… extenuating circumstances we'll say that) and i love the devastating ANGST potential all through canon and post canon. guys. guys. they're very dependent on one another because like i said they're all they really have, the one (1) constant in their lives, and there's an unbelievable kind of trust between them even amidst all the fear and problems (extenuating circumstances.) and it's just… they're each other's person. it kills me. waiterrr waiterrr more doomed regular please!! Katrielle x Emiliana: "A classic enemies to lovers dynamic, though I interpret it as one-sided enemies. Emiliana convinces herself that she has to be Katrielle’s rival, due to the different ways they approach cases (Katrielle mostly goes on gut instincts while Emiliana prides herself on her profiling skills and data collecting); however Katrielle just seems to be going along with it. Throughout the game, Katrielle teases Emiliana, which flusters and confuses Emiliana. As the game goes on, Emiliana will eventually tease back. Also, in one of the game’s later episodes, Emiliana purposefully throws others off of Katrielle’s trail, giving Katrielle the chance to figure things out herself. Based on the profile Emiliana made for Katrielle, she knew where Katrielle would go, so she could have pointed everyone to her. She chose not to."

Bickson x Tidus (0): "Bickson was a minor foil with a privileged view on Sin's attacks on Spira, mirroring Tidus' way of life before he went into the future. He also takes a very specific stance after the party is vilified to the public, stating that he doesn't care about rumors and that he only cares about Tidus' skill in blitzball. Immediately regards Tidus as a rival in sport, is irritatingly handsome, kind of an asshole, and canonically several inches taller than Tidus. It is either that he would try and be sarcastic and get his jaw grabbed before being pinned against the wall, or he would be Tidus' bigmouthed service top, but either way, if he travelled with the party it would be a really cool parallel display of the rude awakening Tidus went through actually existing in places where Sinspawn attacks. From the moment that the Blitzball tournament gets attacked by fiends, we are to assume that Bickson's whole team survives because they are still players in the BB league, but i submit to you it would have been incredible to see him reconcile with some of his teammates dying to fiends, and having to come to terms with that as he moves forward to travel with some of the only people to understand what it means to want to fight back. My personal favorite dynamic between them is ABO soulmates, at that first handshake between them in the finals, and bonding as the sinspawn attack. bonus points if tidus is still in love with yuna."
