Halloween fic by me: Skirting It (K/T)

Adore

Love is a feeling one shall endure

Its fancied perfect, blissful and pure

That feeling is one that's forced upon us all

Getting us up, just to watch us fall

With experience I implore,

"In love" is much different than the word "adore".

You can love the teddy you hug when you sleep

You can love the shoulder that's there when you weep

You can love the look of your new hair

You can love the person that says they care

And all those you can adore

When you're in love you'd risk you're very pulse to let that person breathe another day

When you're in love you'd drop everything, every plan, to to be with that person in someway

When you're in love you'd see that person in everything you see

When you're in love, and you're with that person, you feel their energy

In every extremity

With all of the intensity

To take the very breath from thee.

That goes way beyond the meaning of adore.

To be in love is different to every person.

Those who are lonely visualize it mainly as coercion,

But that's just a different version

Of adore.

The fact that when someone is lonely, they feel as if there is no hope

They lose sight at what is out and digress to only mope

Friends and family aren't enough when one thinks about their soul

The need to find its true mate takes over them as a whole

They think about the very thing they want and just add more

They really just want somewhere to start.
