“Take your time” he said hesitantly since one of his other acquaintances, who was a woman, wanted to visit him. Miki and him weren’t exclusive but he still didn’t want to be disrespectful. “I’ll be there until the morning so you could come early or later.”

miki could definitely notice that for some reason he hesitated to tell her to come. which meant only one thing. he must have been worried about something , perhaps one of the waitresses there was hitting on him, or he had some fling with one or more of the regulars. ‘what is he worried about?’ she thought to herself as she took a step back. “i’ll try to fix the mistakes fast and come at a logical time.ne?” she didn’t want to go too late and then have more customers visit because of her. she was a people magnet, so she had to be careful not to give him extra work around the time that he has to finish work. 

“I am fine don’t worry.” he moved his face away. His bottom lip was still bleeding from the fight at the bar but it wasn’t anything serious. “things like these happen at a bar.” Joongki shrugged his shoulders as he walked to the bathroom to better examine the wound. 

it was just a bar fight but it made her feel pain looking at his wound. she had been with him for months already and caring about him came naturally. she was thankful nothing worse happened "i hope you aren't hurt elsewhere!" she dashed, almost slipped but didn't matter to her, and got the first aid kit and the special ointment her grandpa made for quick healing. she stood out of the bathroom and called out to him "joongki, let me take care of your wound please?" 

miki  had been driving earlier in an almost free street - the red lights weren’t even stopping her because they would change mysteriously to green just for her sake- while joongki had been next to her in the co-driver’s seat. they had been discussing of adopting a kitty, something that had them both excited. the car was parked in front of the shelter ready to accept the new life. miki was standing next to joongki and in front of the cat cages. “every kitty here is cute.” she said leaning her head on his arm. “how do we decide which to adopt?”

it was finally that time when the sun was too hot to stay inside. hence, miki took joongki with her for a vacation and to the beach. luckily her grandpa and grandma were in seoul so they left hercules with them. their stuff were left in the hotel room but the beach necessities were all in her beach bag. she had set everything on the chairs under the big umbrella close to the shore.

Joong ki wasn’t a man to engage in anything romantic. He used to be romantic at one point when he saw a future with his ex-girlfriend who he was madly in love with. He did many silly romantic things back then but did that make her stay? No. She still left him for much older man, a divorcee, millionaire, and a father of two kids. Since then, he became cold and detached with romance last thing on his mind.

The kiss they engaged in was only enjoyable to her. For himself, he was only interested in what was coming next. he could really skip the kissing part but she seemed to immersed into it and maybe he still didn’t have cold enough heart to stop her. So, Joong Ki cupped her cheeks and kissed her with as many feelings he could put into it.

what was she even doing? she wanted to ask herself many times! the most annoying thing about being a lucky woman was that even when she would mess up, things turned out for the better. like a few weeks ago when she was with a russian model and managed to find the best excuse to leave before she would have to continue anything with him. and right at that moment even though the kiss wasn't bad, it felt like they were moving too fast! she didn't want to mistreat him especially after receiving the feelings he was putting in the kiss. 

her lips parted with his when she cupped his cheeks with both hands. she had to catch her breath. "wait! i need to breathe!"eyes still closed, she breathed against his lips. opening her eyes she boldly gazed into his then back at his lips. and she would have kissed him again, but her lipstick wasn't as long lasting as the advertisement promised, he had red all over his mouth. instead, she started laughing loudly. "sorry i am not laughing at our kiss! but your lips!" she laughed again hiding her face in her hands. "i think we both have red lipstick smudges all over our mouths! chanel commercial lied to me! but i must confess! you look so cute like that!" she grabbed her purse to take out her wipes and handed one to him while keeping one for herself. cleaning off the red smudge she faced him. "do i still have smudges?" she asked him while puckering her lips.
