♡ you like that even though he’s good, he also wants to improve ♡ which is a really admirable trait ♡ he constantly sends you voice memos of him singing for your feedback ♡ and when you reply to him with tips ♡ on hindsight, maybe he was just trying to flirt ♡ he always gets it right away and he improves more ♡ even though you thought it was impossible

♡ when jongdae comes into the practice room the next practice you have ♡ he’s holding a small bouquet of flowers ♡ you don’t realise until he’s placed it on the keyboard beside you ♡ you’re really surprised  ♡ in a good way but you’re also kind of confused ♡ jongdae looks so so confident in front of you, smile wide ♡ eyes also crinkled up into the small crescents that you love ♡ there isn’t an ounce of nervous energy radiating from him ♡ you’re getting confidence confidence confidence ♡ and your heart is racing ♡ what’s going on ?? ♡ you lowkey are aware of what’s about to happen but you can’t really believe it ♡ y/n!! ♡ he says it in his usual playful tone which makes you smile automatically ♡ when you smile, the sun shines he sings ♡ and you smile impossibly wider ♡ and when you’re around, my world lights up he continues ♡ it’s his own rendition of baby, don’t cry ♡ you feel like crying ♡ not really, but you’re touched, to say the least ♡ do you wanna go out with me?? ♡ and you’re just like !!!! yes !! ofc i will ♡ he laughs at your excitement ♡ which makes you really embarrassed but he reaches over ♡ and messes up your hair ♡ it’s the usual thing he does ♡ and you’re glad that the atmosphere hasn’t changed

♡ jongdae’s a really sweet boyfriend ♡ he’s always looking out for you ♡ whenever he comes for practice, he gets you a drink ♡ and somehow he always knows the right drink to pick ?? ♡ he picks up your feelings from your texts ♡ and always comes at the right moments ♡ y/n you have to take care of your throat ♡ because you’re coughing incessantly ♡ role reversal !! ♡ bcs you’re always the one telling him not to strain himself too much

♡ he also walks you home ♡ or at least, to the door of sm ent bcs he can’t be caught in a scandal ♡ and he’s respecting your want to keep the r/s under wraps ♡ even tho he doesn’t mind announcing it

♡ you sometimes stay over at the dorm ♡ baek complains playfully but oh well minseok shuts him up ♡ you really like laying in jongdae’s arms ♡ while he might be smaller than the others ♡ he somehow fits your frame perfectly ♡ pillow talk !! ♡ and he’s just so, so warm ♡ you love it when he dresses comfortably ♡ sweatpants and his pair of glasses ♡ it makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside ♡ and you always snuggle into him during the night

♡ but still, you both do get your fair share of fights ♡ because you’re both headstrong and like to push through tough times ♡ your motto is ♡ tough times don’t last but tough people do ♡ which, coincidentally, is his too ♡ and two headstrong people with differing opinions don’t really go well tgt ♡ but you resolve your differences amiably ♡ or when you do get into a fight ♡ you always end up going back bcs ♡ you understand each other the most

♡ so you’re nervous when you have to meet him in person ♡ you don’t know how you’ll act ♡ even though you know how you should act ♡ because even if you tell yourself to suppress your inner fangirl  ♡ you already know that’s not possible ♡ especially when he steps into the room ♡ bcs wow he looks even better in real life  ♡ you kind of swoon ♡ like a lowkey swoon and you hope he didn’t see that ♡ you introduce yourself and bow ♡ you try to be as professional as ever ♡ you open up your computer and plug it into the sound system to let him hear the songs you’ve prerecorded for his album ♡ and he looks genuinely interested ♡ which is really really nice ♡ because you’ve worked with some who just act nice on camera ♡ and they’re not actually nice in real life

♡ is that your voice? ♡ and you nod shyly ♡ he’s referring to the prerecorded tracks that have your voice ♡ you like to do everything yourself ♡ because you want your artist to know how exactly it sounds ♡ and maybe tweak it to fit their styles ♡ i like your voice he says ♡ and you’re officially in love with him  ♡ no but he’s really nice in person

♡ you meet him for recordings ♡ and he’s very patient and does the same parts a million times ♡ which is touching  ♡ because he wants to nail everything he does ♡ to perfection even though it already is ♡ but he puts in his hundred and one percent ♡ you laugh a lot in the recording booth
