The magical Still life Calendar idea…Well this is a lot more complex than I thought it would be.. its a whole process not dissimilar to creating the stang and skull piece itself. What I am aiming for is a classic still life feel, so that changes up the usual altar set up sort of, and is challenging what I originally thought, and I have had to leg go of all my pre conceived ideas about how it was going to be set up or look. I am currently experimenting inside as it is to bright and hot outside. But this afternoon when the sun is right, I will take the experiment outside. now to set up the tripod, and find some lovely still life artists to be inspired by I am looking at Fiona Paddington, who is a forking amazing photographer. (I am a huge fan). The phrase Lighting from within is what I can hear her saying in my head. and the awesome Jonette Murray who still life paintings are simple but so full of magic. .
