Bornstein leads Queretaro to Liga MX Final
All eyes were on Ronaldinho Gaucho to guide the âWhite Roostersâ of Queretaro (pronounced: Kay-Retard-O) past the âMolesâ of Pachuca for a place in the Liga MX championship final. It was United States Menâs National Team washout Jonathan Bornstein, however, who would do what the Brazilian icon couldnât.
Bornsteinâs sublime 50th minute finish gave Queretaro a two-nil win, tying the Moles on aggregate, that qualifies the club to their first ever Liga MX final. While the US defender is not National Team material or good enough to play in any of the top MLS clubs he is clearly making history in Liga MX. Â
