Katherine Pierce Petrova Mikaelson is this badass demon hunter, her husband Elijah is co president of their demon hunting institute. Katherine was coming back from hunting when she is jumped, and knocked unconscious when she awakes she finds she has been marked with a strange rune on her. After a fight she awakens to find a mysterious man with her claiming to be her brother but that’s impossible Katherine’s brother died when she was two and she was sent to live with another family for her protection. Katherine even though she is under the assumption her brother is dead she still loves him.

Jonathan Pierce, Katherine’s brother he loves his sister. But is also unstable and doesn’t know how love works. He loves Katherine but he also wants to control and have Katherine to himself but Katherine has friends and a husband. Both siblings were brought up very different Katherine was brought up with friends, fight lessons and weapons training. Jonathan was brought up being used as a weapon and when he got too powerful he was sent to hell and his skin was burned everyday for ten years. The only hope he had in hell was one day he would see his sister again.

Even though both siblings remember their short childhood together before they were separated they still remember each other and their childhood they both love each other and will fight for each other when reunited.
