can i interest everyone in some agnesdaisy. i know the timeline is completely shot for this but it’s not like i care and this is going to actively kill me if i don’t get it out of my head onto another platform so yall get this
this actually started as an idle jonagnes musing (agnes and jon i think would have mutually benefitted from knowing each other especially with jon struggling at the height of losing his humanity in s4 while agnes seems to have always shown an interest in learning it), then my thoughts fell on daisy who had the same struggle as jon and clicked with him for the same reasons. and. god i love both ships tbh but agnesdaisy fucking breaks me for how daisy pre-coffin would have 100% tried to kill agnes for “being a monster” and agnes would have recognized immediately that they were the same, actually. the hunt and the desolation work absolutely in tandem too
daisy is both sides of the monster coin in that you can either openly embrace monsterhood (as she did pre-coffin) or actively fight it (post-coffin) and agnes who has been pulled in the former direction her whole life might have been able to see a glimmer of hope when daisy comes back out of the coffin a changed woman. could agnes sever her own connection, too? agnes was called upon and used for her powers her entire life, so maybe fighting them off would be as difficult for her as it would be for us to stop breathing. is it possible, as daisy does, to struggle towards being a less destructive person, even when the call of the cult and the blood sings in your ears every day? i think about them a lot
