Yes of course! Jon may not know how to take care of theirself, but they can always care for their Martin 🥰 

I deffo write Jon having touch/quality time love language where Martin has acts of service/words of affirmation, but Jon reciprocates on the acts of service as well! He just..... generally needs to be cared for more than Martin LOL

Bonus:

My step mother (who is Japanese), thinks feat are very dirty, we must take our shoes in doors or wear slippers. We have a shoe rack for guests to use to!

My Jon is actually biracial, his mother was Japanese and his father was English. His mom went to London for school and ended up marrying and staying there. When his mom fell ill, after his dad died, his grandma came to help watch him while his mom was recovering (of course that never happened).

His grandma ended up staying in London after her daughter’s death to raise him, which added to the tension in the home life. She was from Gifu prefecture (honestly I mostly just chose that bc I’m obsessed with Shirakawa-go lmao it’s such a gorgeous little town), so she would have spoken with Mino dialect. BUT she mostly tried to speak standard Japanese with Jon since she was his only exposure to the language and she wanted to teach him standard grammar. The dialect would only slip out when she was upset (THEREFORE Jon really understood Georgie’s attempts to hide her own Scouse accent). So Jon speaks standard Japanese, but maybe he’ll slip a lil Mino dialect in there every once in a while when he’s being sassy or something LOL

And yes, no shoes in the house!!! I agree wholeheartedly for my own home lmao and Jon would not tolerate Martin wearing his shoes indoors.

Hmmmm I imagine a slightly outdated music taste? Like Billy Joel and ABBA. Also showtunes of course 😁 They listen to music as a distraction more than anything, so they gravitate toward songs they can sing along with!
