The date was December 25th.Ā The Doctor walked to Jackieās room and knocked on the door.Ā He had a small box in his hands, wrapped in Christmas wrapping.Ā There were several gifts in the box for her.Ā There was a necklace he had found on another planet with a golden chain, some books he thought she might enjoy, a sonic screwdriver he designed specifically for her, some psychic paper, a photo album with photos from all their adventures together, a gift card for an outerspace mall he planned on taking her to, and a christmas sweater he knitted himself.Ā The box itself was small, but also bigger on the inside.Ā Ā āMerry Christmas,ā he told her, holding out the gift to her after she opened the door.

I walk alone down the street, headphones in and ignoring the world. Wandering aimlessly away from my home and the family I can't stand I find myself in front of a rather bright and loud club. I glance up and decide a few drinks couldn't ruin my night anymore so I head inside and find myself a spot at the bar. After getting my drink I turn, fixing my loose t-shirt and adjusting my tall brown boots over my jeans as I scan the scene, taking in all the scenarios I am surrounded by. Fixing my long red hair, my eyes land on a flash of green, and I study the area searching for the cause of that flash and my sudden interest. @jokesallaround

Vince sighed and snuffed out his cigarette on the edge of the table, blowing the ashes onto the bar floor. He was sitting at the back table, talking business, his feet up and stretched out in front of him. However, now he moved to lean across the table, folding his hands in an almost business-like manner that was very unlike him. āYou do realize youāre orderinā a lot of fuckinā weapons. That isnāt gonna come cheap.ā

It had been a normal night, taking care of a competitor that did not wish to join Joker and her side under Gotham. They had refused to be under rule and accept her as their Queen. After they had insulted her Ari was sent to kill them and Joker would have control of their territory, their underlings would fall under Joker as did everyone else or die. She knew better than to wear things she could not replace on these endeavorers as they always ended up with bullet holes in them.Ā
The gang leader and his right hand, a couple of other loyalists were left. She ripped the hearts out of the loyalists. She was close to the right hand when he poured some powder into his hand when she got close he blew it all into his face. She had inhaled it in and waved it off with her hand.Ā āReally? You canāt hurt me.ā She snapped his neck then decapitated the gang leader.
As promised she came back to base, after searing the head so that the man did not leak blood onto Jokerās desk as she placed it in front of her.Ā āIf you do not need anything more, I would like to get a night of actual sleep tonight. As it seems a nymph usually ends up in my bed and in my panties.ā She teased lightly, but holding a slight annoyed edge. When she was dismissed she went down into the bedrooms, into her bedroom and closed the door.Ā
After a quick cool shower then getting dressed she crawled into her bed. She actually felt exhausted enough to sleep. An hour later and she groaned in her sleep, feeling uncomfortable. Being uncomfortable soon turned to a headache, then severe cramps in her midsection.Ā
A scream was ripped from her as agony suddenly shot through her body. Her eyes clenched shut tightly as on hand gripped her bicep while the other gripped the bedsheets. Another strike of agony and her scream rang out. Her body sweating with a high fever, her breathing labored as her heart was erratic.Ā

It had all been a lie. Molly couldnāt believe sheād been so blinded, so stupid. All it took was one newspaper article to pull the blindfold off. Joker on Spree of Terror in Gotham. And who was the picture of? Why it was the Green Maiden, the woman Molly had been trusting for months now. She was devastated, but more than that... She was angry. She couldnāt understand how someone could be so devious and underhanded. But that would end tonight.
Molly sat on her couch, reading a book with a blanket, waiting for Joker to join here. But this time, there were GCPD officers hiding around the apartment, waiting for just the right time.
Jokerās spree of terror would end tonight.
