Joker 'virus' is back to haunt Google. It is a malicious code that hides in Android applications. It has been found in 14 apps as per Android malware analyst at Kaspersky, Tatyana Shishkova. In a series of Tweets, Shishkova has named the Android apps that are infected by the dangerous virus. For those unaware, Joker is one of the most-persistent malware that keeps coming back to Google Play Store. The data stealing malware finds its way into the Google's official app store by changing its code, execution method, or payload-retrieving techniques. It is said to steal users' data, including SMS, contact list, device info, OTPs and more. Joker malware was first discovered in the year 2017, in 2019, Google published a blog post about its long fight with Joker malware.
