I guess if you’re reading this then things didn’t work out as they should have…

Honestly, I was kind of expecting things to go to shit…

But I’m okay with this - I had this letter prepared just in case it came to worst case scenario.  And here we are, worst case scenario.

I wish I could’ve kept fighting with you for a little while longer but at least I got to fight in the first place - that’s more than I ask for.

I…I guess I wanted to thank you - I’m not really good at this sappy shit but I feel like you should hear.

You…were the closest thing I had to a best friend, y’know? You listened to me, you let me vent - I genuinely respected you as leader and would have taken a hundred bullets for you.

Most of all…you reminded me of me - a kid who was screwed over for no good reason.  You were only trying to do the right thing and you got punished for it.  Just like me with Kamoshida.

Still…I have to admire your defiance and rebellion right up to the end - you never got caught up in the rumors or gossip bullshit.  You stayed true to yourself.  I admire the hell out of that.

You were one hell of a leader and one hell of a friend.  If anyone can bring this shit home, I know you can.
