continuing my thought from earlier but model suguru who never really intended to get into the industry, just being a regular student from a small town, but he gets scouted during a trip to the city and decides to go with it bc well. he needs to make money somehow. maybe he'll even make enough to pay for his education! but he unexpectedly gets VERY popular and suddenly he's too busy for any of that, which he sort of resents but he can't complain too much bc he's making a damn good living, even if it's not really the life he'd ever envisioned for himself.
he was probably sort of naive and idealistic at first, but quickly became very aware of how fucked up the industry is, but he feels like he can't get out of it so he becomes jaded with time. you wouldn't be able to tell from an outside perspective though, he always keeps up a very carefully crafted persona in front of the media and other people, very rarely actually being himself. he always comes off as very humble, easygoing, and warm in his interviews despite being sorta bitter and depressed on the inside. while he has a lot of fans, he doesn't feel like anybody truly knows him, so all these people claiming they love him doesn't mean all that much to him...
i feel like the fact that he's got both masculine and feminine beauty wld make him a very versatile model + be a big contributing factor to his popularity with men and women alike, along with his outwardly charming personality.
also thinking abt his "family" being others he met in the industry and actually became super close with... manami being a designer, larue being a makeup artist, and maybe miguel being another model or a photographer... etc etc i think that wld be fun also
