The music was blasting, and could be heard throughout Buck Merrill's house. The whole gang had went there, because of a Halloween party Buck was throwing. The party was boring, well at least for me. I'd been relaxing on a couch for the last 30 minutes, waiting till one of them wanted to go home. The whole gang was having an enjoyable time, but I didn't seem to see Y/N anywhere. Y/N was my best friend, and I've started to develop feelings for her.  I didn't wanna start falling head over heels for her, but you try spending everyday with a pretty girl, and you try not to fall in love.

"This party is lame." Y/N plopped down next to me.

"I know, right."

"You know I actually know a place that's much more better than this. Follow me!" She grabbed my hand, and led me outside.

It was a chilly, crisp Autumn night, and the stars were out and glistening.  I followed her to behind the house, where everything was calm and quiet.

"Dally showed me this cool spot yesterday." She pulled down a ladder that was connected to the roof.

"Oh, wow. The town looks gorgeous from up here." I gushed. I loved the feeling of the night time, when the cool air embraced your skin making your hair stick up.

"I know. Me too." She put her head on my shoulder, and we looked out onto the city with it's shining lights, and tall buildings.

I looked at her, and how angel-like she looked with the moonlight falling on her.

"I love you."

She didn't say a word or sound. She didn't say anything.

The roof was pretty windy.It whistled past our ears making strings of words sound like whispers.
