#johnlock dancing

It's Christmas eve and it's only Sherlock and John in the flat. Sherlock is sat in his chair while John fiddles quietly with the CD player until music gently floods the room. He glaces nervously at Sherlock who immediately shoots back a tired look and sighs

"John." 

"Sherlock please it's Christmas eve" John hastily replies. He walks over to Sherlock and holds out his hands. Sherlock reluctantly stands up murmuring

"but john, you know I hate this sort of soppy stu-"

John cuts him off by wrapping his arms around his waist and kissing him lightly on the lips. John starts to sway and soon they are softly slow dancing around the room. The music surrounds them and Sherlock feels John lean into his shoulder, it suddenly dawns on Sherlock that he's never felt more at home than he does right now, enclosed in Johns tender arms. As they step perfectly in time to the melody Sherlock tilts his mouth to Johns ear and Whispers

"I love you John"

Warmth spreads across Johns body and he delicately replies
