Using the artist’s own photographic images as a takeoff point for compositional adventures, this exhibition presents a series of printed digital collages grounded on abstract principles of the absolute and the timeless—inspired by the modern tradition of the spiritual in non-objective art. Photographic features are unmoored from their connections to the recognizable world through a series of digital transformations and become raw abstract materials open to further manipulation in a process marked by chance and improvisation.
