i have complicated feelings about wynne. i understand why her views of the circle are the way they are. it drives me up the fucking wall that she is so resistant to trying to make things better. i feel bad for her because of what happens with rhys, but i also just reread the letter from rhys' father (who is probably greagoir) and Boy Howdy does he tear into her over that. "Pretend that you are the martyred party. I'll always know the truth: you chose your place in the circle over your own son. Your belief that perfect obedience could win a mage the trust of the Chantry was more precious than what we had. You decided to be helpless when you had a choice to fight." if it really WAS greagoir, he would've been maybe the most capable person in the circle who could've helped her get out, and she must have known that, but she. didn't even tell him that she was pregnant.

one of my other beefs w wynne has nothing to do with her but i. really hate how much different her possession by faith is treated compared to anders and justice. every time i remember the DA ttrpg roleplaying guide i just get absolutely incensed because the language surrounding anders was so dehumanizing and wynne's wasn't at all. like, there was a separate section about "anders the abomination" wherein the book used it/its to refer to him. i am not at all bothered by real people using it/its but that is obviously not what was happening there and my heart is so full of hatred for whoever wrote that
