Pictures of Coimbra
On the way back to Lisbon we stopped at Coimbra which has been a university town since the 13th Century. We had the opportunity to visit the illustrious Bibiioteca Joanina and the São Miguel Chapel which was under heavy restoration. We were disappointed that no pictures were allowed inside the library. Coimbra is a very impressive city with a relaxed, easy-going attitude, lots of cafes and beautiful parks.
