Satoshi and Go rise to the challenge of investigating this sandstorm that supposedly lures people inside it with a beautiful song, but then a Flygon appears! What now?! Summary: Ever since his battle against Saito, Satoshi has kept performing poorly in official battles. Meanwhile, a strange, massive sandstorm has started blowing in Kinsetsu City in the Houen Region. This sandstorm supposedly lures people inside it with a beautiful song. Satoshi and Go head there to investigate and find out if this is the work of a yet to be discovered Pokémon, and as they go up against the mystery of the sandstorm, they eventually end up battling the powerful Pokémon Flygon. But as the Flygon uses its speed to toy with Satoshi, Go tries a surprising tactic!! Today’s pokeani episode was so. GOOD! I laughed a ton, loved that Gou got a female Pikachu who was so caring and cute, and while I would have loved to seen it be Pikachu a bit longer, it’s such an adorable, the most adorable Raichu I have ever seen ♥♥♥
I love how the evolution bait was just one second long, and Satoshi told Gou Pikachu doesn’t want to evolve. No flashbacks, but it didn’t really need it, previous times didn’t do it either ;V;
Next week, ohmygod Satoshi is confirmed to be on losing streak, preview mentions 3 consecutive losses and Satoshi is... kinda down about it. But not in a too serious style like in Kalos, kind of a “ohno I can’t reach Dande like this waah“ style (I kinda enjoy different approach lol. Also Gou dragging a closed-up Satoshi jshfgsfjhf). Also seems to be losing battles against TENTACLE Pokémon, I swear he must be scared of tentacles now kJGDfhgssajsfk.
Looking forward to next week, looked well animated and I think I’m gonna like it. Also, it’s the day we’ll get preview for Alola Squad so, sakjfghkfgsf. Double excited.
JN036, finally watched with subs! And god damn, I already liked the episode without them, but understanding all of the dialogue made me love it even more! Might as well classify it as one of my fav eps. Because it finally made me like Gou’s character for what it is. Showed his best capture imo as well ;D
So many people already said the good stuff of the episode, so I don’t feel like repeating them. But know that I loved the episode, and I can finally, with confidence, state that I am now a fan of Gou’s character. He’s finally won me over ♥
Now I’ll go back to hyping about next episode because AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH ALOLA SQUAD KUKUI TREASURE ISLAND ALOLAN NASSY JSFHSJF I’m so god damn happy to be alive ;____;
