Canvas. Short film. Continuity & Data Wrangler. ( Though I did pass the buck for data wrangling due to realising it was quicker for someone else to do it rather than me. ) Doing continuity for this short film gave me a new challenge. Unlike previous shorts I've been part of where I only had to focus on one or two people, this time I had to focus on between 2 - 10 people (depending on scene). Which was quite a interesting challenge to have,so I hope I did okay. Canvas is the first *safe set that I've been apart off. This story focused on a transgendered male (played by a transgendered male),directored by a transgendered male and produced by a transgendered male. All the crew were inclusive. We wore name badges with our crew role, preferred name and preferred pro-noun. Canvas is quite incredible and powerful. I honestly can't thank Zack (the director) for trusting me enough to help be part of telling his short film. Location: Dakabin, Fortitude Valley,Wavell Heights and Brisbane JMC Academy. Date: May - June 2021. *meaning that the crew were able to feel free to be themselves and not be made uncomfortable by being called by deadnames or incorrect genders. #canvas #canvasshortfilm #continuity #jmcacademy @jmcacademy #filmcontinuity #studentfilmmaker https://www.instagram.com/p/CPqJnTiH98D/?utm_medium=tumblr
