Holden tends to have several small habits that he does when he is either nervous or anxious. The normal, most common, of those habits being biting his nails or chewing on his lower lip. But one interesting quirk would have to be that he will start to sing quietly to himself in an awkward or difficult situation where he is unsure on what to say or do. People find it odd when he does such a thing, and Holden himself is unsure on why exactly he does it. But the sound of someone singing to him has always been something that calmed him down. Ever since his mother had sang to him at a very young age-- humming softly to himself made him feel safe and secure. Especially when he is feeling some sort of apprehension or unease. Also in very intense moments this habit will appear as well.
