One of many, Amiyah’s story shines light on the growing human rights violation of women. It was absurd to see and listen to the stigmatization that the women in prostitution are there out of their own choice. Often times, without any other option, these women are forced and drugged to sell themselves.

Needless to say, I kind of rolled my eyes throughout the entire article. Though I consider myself a feminist, I dont necessarily think that my goal is to see men fail. I want to be working with strong female leaders as well as with males who appreciate women and our skills.

When I first entered this class, my idea of feminism was a big foggy cloud. Though I thought i knew... or know(maybe) my gender identification, the gender bread person broke it down enough to where I understood (a little) better about the many different factors that play in the not so binary topic of gender.

To be quite honest, this was a bit of an uncomfortable plenary, in a good way. Often times during this age we find topics such as intersex awkward. It is perhaps a topic that many of us dont know much about because of our ignorant binary society. It was a great idea to express the topic of intersex as a documentary film of real people living REAL lives because it have us the opportunity to sit back and listen as oppose to input unnecessary opinions.
