Instagramming 101 "Hope for the best" photo (low angle photos) I rarely do this. But when I do, I mostly do it when instagramming at the beach. I don't have phone accessories - lens, lifeproof, gorilla pod - to make photographing "easier". I've always been comfortable taking mobile photos with my iphone only (stripped off its protective case) and I. I've discovered a lot about myself through instagramming and although the world is already a beautiful place, I realized I can turn it into a world I can call my own -- (even MORE beautiful!) I love taking low angle photos. We see pretty much everything at standing height. It's amazing how the world looks by simply taking the time to crouch. My favorite place to take low angle photos is at the seascape. So what exactly is taking photos and "hoping for the best"? I position my phone so low that I couldn't see what my phone is seeing đ Here's how I do it: 1. I get down on my knees 2. Flip my phone 3. Position the lens near the sand (but make sure not to get your phone wet! That happened to me twice!) 4. Wait for the uprush 5. Shoot and hope for the best! If you want to repeat the process, feel free to do so. I took mine just once. Oh, you also need to know which wave delivers the swash that you're looking to capture. It's not rocket science. You just need to observe (a few seconds will do) and sometimes listen to when the waves comes crashing down. Yes, instagramming requires all senses. The second step, is to edit it. I do the bulk of my edit in Snapseed. Please see photos. I usually top it off with VSCO. For this one, I skipped that step. #instagramming #jj_beach #beach #lowanglephotos #crouch (at Cagwait WHITE SAND BEACH)
