okay so alice’s parents are super proud of their daughter’s art (alice is really good at painting and photography) and like every wall in the house is covered with her paintings and photos and she’s so embarrassed by it, especially when people come over bc her mom is always like “here’s a photo alice took two years ago, and here’s one from a few weeks ago, and she painted this last month” and she’s just like “mother please you don’t need to explain everything”

alice is also really self conscious about her height (she’s 5′11″) so kenzie (who is 5′7″) starts wearing super high heels, like 4-5 inch heels, so that alice isn’t the only really tall one and and since kenzie is good at seeming intimidating nobody would dare make fun of alice when kenzie’s around and wearing stilettos lmao

yep!! alice and kenzie are the main couple and they fall in love over the course of the story and i’m not gonna spoil it but they have some really sweet and romantic moments; they help ease each other’s self confidence issues and stuff like that, alice always feels like she’s not as important as everyone else so kenzie constantly reminds her how important she is to her, and kenzie always feels like she has to change to be what people want her to be so alice constantly reassures her that she loves her just the way she is and she’ll never have to change for her; they hold hands like all the time and they’re adorable

richie and nora also get together, but they’re not like the “disgustingly in love” couple like alice and kenzie are lmao, they feel completely comfortable around each other and they just get each other, they’re best friends and they communicate really well and they admire and support each other no matter what, but they’re also comfortable giving each other constructive criticism and not worrying about the other hating them for it
