Reboot the Device and Refresh the Music Library

Follow the instructions given below:

You should invoke the ‘Google Play Music’ app on the device.

After that, select the hamburger icon on the left side of the screen.

Select the option of Settings.

Later, choose the button of Refresh.

When you refresh the library, restart the device.

Finally, open Google Play Music once more and check whether the application still crashes.

Remove Data and Cache for Google Play Music

After that, select the option of Apps.

Later, select the option of Storage.

Then choose the option of ‘Power Usage/Battery.’

Finally, select the option of ‘App launch’ and choose the option of ‘No restrictions.’

Upgrade Google Play Music

Follow the instructions given below:

Navigate to the Google Play Store on the device.

Thereafter, select the hamburger menu icon at the upper left side of the screen.

You should choose the option of “My Apps and Games.”

Then browse for ‘Google Play Music.’

Later, check for any pending update. If yes, select the button of Update.

Once you update the application, attempt using it once more and look at whether it works correctly.

Check Data Usage Permissions for Google Play Music

Follow the instructions given below:

Navigate to the Settings app on the device.

After that, select the option of Apps.

You should browse for Google Play Music then select it.

Later, choose the option of ‘Data usage.’

Don’t forget to grant access to the application for phone data, roaming data, and background data.
